Issue Position

Having served over 15 years in three different combat zones and assisted New York's first responders Units in September of 2001, I have seen firsthand the persistent determination of Radical Islam to bring the war to our shores. A joint effort must be made immediately by the federal government, states' governments, and the citizens of the United States to secure our borders. We must use all available resources and allow local, state and federal law enforcement experts to coordinate and enforce existing immigration statutes.

I believe it would be a grave mistake to wait any longer. With Iran on the verge of obtaining nuclear capabilities, the time is now to elect legislators to Washington, D.C. that are willing to take the initiative to do what should have be done 20 years ago. I, for one, will be that legislator.
